Kids Activity at KitsapMaker – Special Thanks to Active Art and Science

Recycled Glass Tile Mosaics with Maker Tim Lowell

We’re a fortunate group at KitsapMaker. Our community (Kitsap County and Jefferson County) is wonderful and very supportive. From the tip of Bainbridge Island to the reaches of the rain shadows of Sequim and to the south in Port Orchard, we have makers coming out, sharing materials, ideas, time, talent. For that, we are grateful.

Tim Lowell, known locally as the Art and Science Guy, runs a small web business in addition to his day job work of teaching kids about art and science and his great summer camps. At least one of the children in our group has attended Mr. Tim’s great camps. Well, Tim was extremely generous and donated materials to make 100 cool, neat, fun tile mosaics with recycled glass.  Thanks, Tim!

If you want to order your own supplies, you can check out his website here at Active Art & Science.

Come on Sunday June 5 and make one of your own!  While supplies last.
